Analysis

Analysis usually takes between 10 to 120 seconds, depending on the playlist length and complexity.

Larger playlists contain more tracks, requiring more API calls to fetch detailed metadata for each song.

Genres are determined by the metadata provided by the music service. If a song is very new or niche, it might lack categorized genre information.

Release dates depend on the metadata available in the music provider's catalog. If an album or track release date isn't listed, it will appear as 'Unknown'.

Privacy

No. MusicEval does not permanently save or import your playlists. When you submit a playlist, we temporarily process and store the playlist information needed to perform the analysis. Temporary analysis data is automatically deleted after the analysis expires. If you choose to create a shareable analysis, MusicEval stores a snapshot of the analysis, including your custom title if provided, so that your shared link can remain accessible for up to six months.

We do not require access to your personal music account. We only read data from public playlists.
